How I Visualize My Environmental Signs At the Beaches And RIvers Of Puerto RIco

Metaphorically speaking, as I walk around with my signs, I visualize my signs as walking around with 2 white gloves slapping people around, just slapping some sense into the people. I challenge you to a duel! SLAP! SLAP! I view it as challenging the people to start taking action to start changing their ways and …

Watch What Happens When Humanity Ignores Garbage (Short Film)

Watch What Happens When Humanity Ignores Garbage

Here is a video Raising awareness to pollution. When i arrive to the beach, the first thing i do is look around and pick up any garbage that there might be. Anything going into the ocean or anything that can be blown by the wind into the ocean, cups, bags.

It is our responsibility to take action and keep our world clean. Whatever we can do, no matter how small. It still makes an impact and we have to be the collective dents to make a big enough impact and that can only happen if we all work together. Work towards bettering our world.

I see many people ignore the garbage. They just walk by it or sit next to it. They figure it’s not theirs so why should they pick it up and that is the problem with our world. We turn a blind eye to shit that matters. We go on with that mentality, that mentality of well let someone else do that and that just continues and it’s why we have this constant pollution piling up.

Instead of picking up we just continue to contribute, instead of being the solution we continue to be the problem.  We pass this on to the next generation and this is what we teach them by ignoring that garbage. The cycle just continues and it has come to the point that all the garbage is now an afterthought. So much garbage, that it has now blended itself into the beautiful scenery, into the paradise that we have forgotten that our world is and truly could be.

Here is a video made by a group called sea shepherd from Uruguay.  This video depicts what I have been protesting for in various beaches where I currently reside in the island of Puerto Rico.  People leaving the beach often see me with my sign and tell me that they cleaned up “their” garbage, but that other garbage around them is not theirs. In which I remind them that the garbage is everyone’s responsibility, no matter if it is not yours. I tell them that the garbage you leave behind is the inheritance you leave for your children. Not only what they leave for their children, but the other species that inhabit this world that also call this home, as we go on thinking that  we are the only species.  I have a similar protest where I put a garbage bag over my head which can be seen by clicking here.

But first enjoy this video by that group and

Please share this post so that together we can all raise awareness since the world seems to be sleeping through all this garbage.. Let’s make our world a paradise. peace!

Pick up, even if it is not yours! If we all do our part, we could change the world!

WATCH: When Birds Eat Plastic

I protest for those who can’t speak for themselves as I wrote in this blog. Time to start making a change in our world. I think we need to stop using plastic, stop accepting plastic bags in the store, stop using plastic cups. We do live in a world that it has become unavoidable to use plastic. But if we can reduce our way of consumption we can start making the changes and we must find alternatives to plastic, such as cannabis hemp where we can make biodegradable plastic.

DIY: Paint The Town Green: Moss graffiti

Paint the town green: Moss graffiti As people become more eco-friendly and environmentally aware, the idea of making living, breathing graffiti has become an exciting outlet for graffiti artists. Also called eco-graffiti or green graffiti, moss graffiti replaces spray paint, paint-markers or other such toxic chemicals and paints with a paintbrush and a moss “paint” …
