Taking Care Of The Beaches Of Puerto Rico Memorial Day weekend
Hello all my wild souls, down below is this weeks video of walking with my signs and taking care of the beaches of Puerto RIco. what a long week doing what I do. It was another exhausting week as Iwent to another 5 beaches with my signs. Also handing out bags and cleaning beaches. 3 straight days of being the guardian of the beaches. I really wanted to go to a secluded river and just be with myself and relax. But when these holidays come, I feel like I must go protect the beach and the oceans. I feel like its also my opportunity to plant seeds of change. The…

Video: How I Raise Awareness To Trash at The Beaches Of Puerto Rico
Since 2013, I have became the self-imposed guardian of the beaches of Puerto Rico. as I went on a journey to try to inspire change and wake others up because everywhere you go on this magical island gets trashed by many of the people who call this home. I was tired of seeing all of this magic that is Puerto Rico be destroyed with trash and so I thought I needed to do something. So I start carrying my signs to many different beaches and rivers in one given day. I saw how my signs made a difference as people read them and started to become more conscious of their…

Puerto Rico Beach Trash Stories: Shoving A Cigarette Inside A Cave Rock
Welcome to my blog. I will be sharing my beach trash stories here. For those that don’t know since 2013, I have been the self imposed guardian of the beaches. This is the entrance to a beautiful beach, poza de las mujeres. This is how many of the people treat it. Oh and there is a large dumpster 10 feet to the right of this that…

Why I protested Standing On A Toilet On A Beach In Puerto Rico
On the summer of 2015, I was astounded to find a toilet in a beautiful beach here in Puerto Rico. People sat next to it as if it was a normal fixture to nature and there it stood for a week or 2 at the same spot. After a while, I had enough and I removed the toilet from the sandy area and at first I tried to lift that toilet to take it out but the smelly toilet was filled with what I believed as urine, perhaps even poop and garbage and all that liquid started to leak out of the bottom and onto my leg. So as enraged…

My Beach Protest Was A Rude Awakening
My Beach Protest Was A Rude Awakening Definition of rude awakening : surprising and unpleasant discovery that one is mistaken <He thinks he can get by without doing any work, but he is in for a rude awakening.> (According to Merriam-Webber.) With the way I protested throughout this island with my signs, I am very aggressive with the things I say. I put all my thoughts out there, however “radical and extreme” people may find them. I hold nothing back. People may find it harsh, or find the things I say to be very abrasive. But that is what I call a rude awakening. Now people might also misconstrue the…
