What do I need the donation for?

I just recently was able to acquired a wonderful piece of farm land in Puerto Rico. My goal is to create a sanctuary for the birds, bees and other creatures, so they have a peaceful place to be with an abundance of food available for them as I plan on growing a food forest. I plan on growing many flowering trees as well as many fruiting trees.

I want to create a symbiotic relationship with everything as nature intended. I need help obtaining fruit and flowering trees and shrubs. Also need help obtaining seeds. I will be sharing more videos and blogs on the progress of the farm and hope to share tips and advice. This will be my canvas, I just need the tools to create the art. I need to get shade cloths so that I can build a propagation station. One of my goals is to propogate many flowers and plant them around the island, replacing the garbage found there.

Why should you donate?

I dedicated my time here in Puerto Rico on being the guardian of the beaches and rivers, which I go into detail below, I did not make money off of this. I actually spent most of my savings I came here with tfor my cause. but I also did tours to make money, but after being shot, I could not do tours anymore as I am traumatized as I developed PTSD. Now having this home I can have the peace that I have been seeking. Through my mission for my cause, I did not make a dime, but I did what I did from the heart and so I ask for help from the heart. I am like a non- profit organization , only just a one man army on a mission to change the world. If anyone has felt inspired by what I do or like the things I post on here or social media and would like to support what I have done and what I will continue to do. Who am I?

Who am I and what I have done, My name is Jivan and 9 years ago i moved from brooklyn NY, to puerto rico, during over the last 6 years, I dedicated myself to becoming the guardian of the beaches and rivers as I grew tired of seeing litter all over this beautiful paradise.

I started walking with signs to raise awareness to this problem. I became a human billboard and took my signs everywhere with me, even if there were a few people, all I needed was one person to read them. I did this almost everyday. There was one beach that I took care of the most. I would come and place my signs all over that beach and watched the beach to make sure no one left their trash and i would remind people to take their garbage.

I have been threatened many times, you can read about one of the threats here., and even shot at my face for it which could be read here, almost becoming a martyr to my own cause.

Ever since being shot, I no longer walk with my signs, but I still go cleaning the beaches and rivers when I can. I wanted to leave Puerto Rico after all that has happened to me, but an opportunity to stay presented itself as I found the land of my dreams and could work on my vision that I had for a while now, which could be read here and need your help for my vision.

I am sure I have inspired many people with what I have done and hope to continue inspiring more as I look to make videos from my farm showing the progress and sharing my perspectives on how I live. My mission in cleaning the rivers and beaches is not done yet. As I raise awareness through my social media accounts and continue to clean up the beaches and rivers.
