Wonderful Soul Donates Batteries For My Off The Grid Setup In Puerto Rico

Hello to all my radically wild souls, I have been very fortunate to have received so much help in my time here in Puerto Rico. In 2019, I was about to leave Puerto Rico because I was shot in the face for defending a beach from trash. Which could be read about here. But I was able to obtain the property of my dreams as my goal is to create a food forest and live off the grid and sustainably and hopefully build something that could inspire others.

On my property there are no power lines and so I have to rely on one solar panel that a wonderful soul donated to me when I asked for help through my facebook page. Which could be read about here. He was quick to donate his one and only solar panel off his roof.

I had an old battery that did not work as good and that is when another wonderful soul offered to donate two deep cycle batteries. Which has been providing me with adequate electricity for powering some lights and to power my laptop, which I use to update this website and edit my youtube videos.

I don’t own a TV or refrigerator or anything that consumes much power, but sometime down the line, I would like to get a freezer to preserve my fruit. Hopefully I can manage to obtain more batteries and panels.

I am very grateful to these wonderful souls to have helped me out because it has been hard for me to obtain things due to the kind of life I chose to live as I now live a very simple life. I came here with my savings but I spent much of my savings on my cause, what has become my mission. Which I write about further down.

Why are people helping me out?

Well first off, it is because that is what the people of Puerto Rico are all about. Helping one another. That is one of the many wonderful qualities of the beautiful people of this paradise.

Secondly, another reason people have helped me out is because of the mission of what I have done on this island. I have lived in Puerto Rico for 9 Years and for the last 6 years I dedicated my time to taking care of the beaches from trash. I would walk around with my many signs throughout the beaches and rivers of Puerto Rico to raise awareness to the trash people would leave behind.

I also would be cleaning up the beaches and rivers as I would do my one bag challenge and pick up whatever I find at the beaches and rivers. I no longer walk around with signs after being shot, but I still clean up the beaches and rivers and continue raising awareness through social media and here on my website.

Now with this farm I also get to use my hands in a different capacity other than picking up garbage. As previously mentioned. My goal is to create a food forest and sanctuary for the birds and the bees and other creatures. I want to plant flowers throughout the farm and hopefully I can then take the flowers and replace the trash in many places. Here I write about that initiative. Here you can read more about starting my food forest.

Thank you

Thanks to everyone who have helped me and support what I have done and continue to do. I truly appreciate the love many of you have showed me during my time on this beautiful island. If anyone would like to support my cause, I accept donations through paypal jivanlothario100@gmail.com or though this link, but I also accept items that are needed for my home as I am still missing windows and doors. I also accept fruit trees and flowers for my farm or gift certificates from seed stores such as rareseeds or strictlymedicinal . Thanks again
